LI; To understand the story behind our flag
The reason why i created this DLO is because i wanted to explain about the things about the old and new Version about the New Zealand flag and the Union Jack. We had to get into pairs to collaborate and think when why was how was the flags created.
Last week we made our pepeha about our family and where we come from and which mountain and river we come from.
Last week we made an alley way turn into a master piece by using Adobe Express. We had a photo that we could use to make a very cool alley way. You could add Grafiti on the walls for decoration, Add some Street lights to the Alley way were creating.
Last week we made a photo collage of LS2 at camp. We could make a google drawing or make a movie of the photos we taken at camp and turn them into an collage.
Last week we had to make a photo using Adobe Express of what Samuel Marsden saw. Samuel Marsden was one of an early missionary who arrived in New Zealand to spread Christainality all around of NZ. And when Samuel Marsden saw a mountain. On top of the mountain was a village. We had to come up with an idea of what Samuel Marsden saw in the olden days with Mount Maungrei As our picture.
3 weeks ago we had to write about kauri dieback. Kauri dieback is a disease that infects any other kauri trees. And also Kauri are one of the longest living tree species in the world living between 1000-2000 years.
t’s important to prevent the disease from spreading to healthy trees. This can be done by cleaning shoes and equipment before entering areas with kauri trees to avoid moving the pathogen around.
2 weeks ago we made a rhyming poem that we did about camp. We had to work in partners to make a rhyme sceme about the activites we did
Last week we wrote an Kokako Infographic. An infographic tells us some information of the kokako bird. A Kokako Bird is a dark greyed longed tail-wattled crow that has a blue chin.
Last week Thursday we wrote about Samuel Marsden. We had to create a DLO to explain who is Samuel Marsden and what does he do. Samuel Marsden was an early missionary who arrived to New Zealand to spread christanality.
