Samuel Marsden

  Last week Thursday we wrote about Samuel Marsden. We had to create a DLO to explain who is Samuel Marsden and what does he do. Samuel Marsden was an early missionary who arrived to New Zealand to spread christanality.

Kia Ora my name is Jeremiah and I am in year 7 at Panmure Bridge School. Somethings I like to do is spend time with friends and family. My favourite subject at school is Art because I like designing and making different things out of paper. I love playing sports like volleyball, touch and kia rahi.

My goal for this year is to work hard to become a student leader in 2026.

On December 11 LS1’s teacher Miss Tele’a invited her parents and asked questions to them. We had to ask them questions like how did you get a Malofie/Tattoo and they just answer them back.When we finished our questions we had a bit of morning tea. And the bit of morning tea I’m talking about is Chopsuey. We all had a plate and did a karakia/Pray to eat.

What is an Airplane: An airplane is a vehicle that flies through the air. It has wings that help it lift off the ground, and it’s powered by engines that make it go. Airplanes are used for transporting people and goods over long distances quickly, flying above the traffic on roads. They usually take off and land at airports.

What does Airplanes do: Airplanes are vehicles designed to fly through the air. They transport people and goods quickly over long distances. They have wings that create lift, engines that provide power, and various systems to help control and navigate them. Basically, people get on airplanes to travel from one place to another, often much faster than by car or train.

Airplanes transport passengers and cargo from one location to another quickly, like taking a flight from New York to Los Angeles in a few hours instead of driving for days.
